The Beauty is in the Details

Marks Dzyn was contacted by Mrs Megha Grover and her husband for the home designing of their three bed room flat in Gulshan Ikkebana in Noida Sec-143. They are both IT professionals with a young daughter. Their preference for a modern home which is maintenance free as well as clutter free was taken into account while designing the whole project. It was great to see that Mrs Megha Grover had a keen interest in every aspect of this project and our interior designers looked forward to having many discussions and meetings to finalize all the details.

1. Living and Dining

A lavish living and dining area was desired by our client. We thought that a mirror cladding above the crockery unit would act as an accent wall as well as magnify the size of the room. Mirrors always have that grand effect. The opulent chandelier over the dining table exudes a sense of sparkle and definitely created an inviting atmosphere for entertaining. The walls were kept white by our interior designers to give a neat clean appearance. A simple false ceiling design was selected. The living area was given a hint of Scandinavia with a grey sofa and elegant chest of drawers and matching curtains.

The master bedroom had a wooden theme on the bedback panel and the wardrobes. The panel had a cove light which serves a dual purpose of illumination and sophistication. This design was found to be calming and elegant by Mrs Grover. The dresser unit by Marks Dzyn, at the left helped for a quick or last minute glance. We created it in the limited space as this was one of the essential requirements of the Grovers.
As is seen the wardrobes continued the same shade of laminate to maintain uniformity. The TV unit was very subtle yet aesthetic in terms of usability. A dresser unit has been made for keeping essentials matched with an ottoman.

A small puja room was made near the entrance of the house. A large backlit frame of Lord Ganesha was placed. A generous pooja unit was made for keeping pooja essentials in an organized way. This whole place exuded a sense of peace and tranquillity.

Mrs Grover wanted a comfortable and spacious place to study for her daughter. A profile light was positioned under the ledge to give sufficient lighting. This also helped keep the table bereft of any lamps or wires or switches. The overhead unit was elevated with louvered shutters for easy access.
Coming to the bed back design, our interior designer suggested wooden slats on a portion of the wall. This looked quite contemporary and when matched with a painting made the room look quite complete.

These were the some rooms done by Marks Dzyn for the Grover family and our team of interior designers were happy to associate with the Grovers for yet another satisfying project.
