Interior Designing: DLF Park Place, Gurgaon

The DLF Park Place in Gurgaon is a large condominium complex in Sector 54. Rajiv and Neeru were our Clients who had recently purchased this spacious apartment. The apartment has a lot of ventilation, windows and good views. Rajiv and Neeru were very well traveled, have corporate jobs, a very fine taste for good living and were previously living in Old Gurgaon. We had a lot of good time discussion various design facets with them and co-creating this final Interior Design and actually construction the interior as well. The theme we chose was a mix of Minimalistic as well as Nordic. One of the most important decisions was to go for a wooden flooring, considering a lot of apprehensions customers have on its longevity. Going with a solid wooden flooring company like Pergo, which offered long guarantees, helped making this decision lot easier. We gave a lot of hidden and ambient lighting in this apartment, the furniture was manufactured through us, and most of the Decor items were purchased from Delhi and Gurgaon and previously bought by Neeru. Nice Apartment, Nice People, and finally a Nice Design too!

2. Dining Room

The subtle hues of the various wooden textures on the dining table are so rustic yet so modern!

The apartments in DLF Park Place Gurgaon are large and have a lot of window space with nice views. The Window area was left vacant to give the feeling of ample space and the Dining Area was demarcated with a False Ceiling. The chairs chosen were of Nordic Style with slanting legs and a long wooden bench on one side. The primitive bench design is back and beautifully ties up an otherwise simple dining area together. The look was kept minimalistic and was completed with a wall painting and a few Floor lamps. The abstract painting on the uncomplicated white walls is like a whiff of fresh air in this otherwise muted room.

Our writers from the editorial desk have covered much more on wall designs in our in house Magazine.

3. Bathroom

A Backlit mirror on the wall, beige color tiles, strikingly wooden vanity cupboard and a table top washbasin completed the look of this modern bathroom.

5. Balcony

The Client wanted the Balcony to have a minimal design and our interior designers in Gurgaon took a good note of it. The Balcony was given a Matte Gris Tile of Simpolo, with Potted Plants. We came across a beautiful Stone Pot in Jaipur which had a nice intricate relief work which was chosen for the balcony. The windows of course were from floor to ceiling with a black UPVC encasing. The small bench with a ensconced upholstery completed the final look of this space.
