Interior Design Concept: Greenfield, Faridabad

The popular adage, ‘Less is more’ definitely resonates with the design concepts we have given for this particular house in Greenfied, Faridabad. Marks Dzyn was approached by a client who wanted to redo her two bedroom flat in Faridabad. After a discussion with the clients and an initial view of the flat our team of interior designers in Faridabad, arrived at some design concepts for this house. We needed to create designs which were very modern, sophisticated and minimalistic.

The living area was a spacious area for dining as well. We suggested a soft white color scheme with cream glazed tiles and white wall. The living and dining area received ample sunlight owing to the fact it   opened up into the running balcony. So illumination and ventilation was not a problem during the day. We kept recessed light in the false ceiling and soft cove lighting across the length of the room. A white sofa was suggested to match the scheme.

White sheer curtains behind the UPVC doors looked apt. A white sofa with nautical colored cushions looked inviting. A two tier centre table one in circular and the other in a hexagonal shape completes the very modern look. The look suggested is serene and very modern. The wall opposite was kept bare with a storage unit in beige at the side. The design had to be clutter free with a lot of free space to move around. The layout focused on having minimum furniture pieces. Our team of interior designers in Faridabad made all storage in built in the walls.

The dining area was given a different look and feel. Placed in the corner and not in the centre this dining nook was given the feel of a restaurant with sofa as well as chair seating. The beautiful royal blue wallpaper suggested gives the most desirable appeal. Cushion covers in shades of grey look cozy. We keep the lighting dim with three copper tinted pendant lights. Instead of the usual crockery cabinet we suggested a wall cabinet for the kitchen and crockery essentials. This we thought would offer the family a unique dining experience.

Since the bedroom is small we gave it a soft colored wooden flooring. The queen size bed was given a dark blue leather headboard.  A beautiful elegant beige wallpaper was suggested the wall behind the bed. Led lighting around the headboard provided all the illumination for reading and maintaining a calm atmosphere. The room was beige given a wooden skirting. Grey drapes complete the room. The furniture is again minimal and blending with the rest of the room.

The above design concept was presented to the clients who were looking for very modern and minimalist solutions for their home. Marks Dzyn was indeed pleased do make this concept for them. This was found satisfying and we soon went ahead with its execution.
