As we know your home reflects your soul, and our client Mr. Pushpinder wanted his 4bhk apartment in sector 65 in Gurgaon to do justice to this statement. We at Marks Dzyn strive hard to live up to the expectations of our esteemed clients be it conceptualization, designing or execution.
Our interior designer Tonushree met the client and his family and after much discussion arrived
at a concept plan taking into account the client’s need for muted colors and designs. Mr
Pushpinder was keen on using wallpapers and paint as wall treatment in lieu of paneling to give
his space a touch of simplicity.
The false ceiling in the entire house has a minimalist design and runs through the entire house evenly. The dining room is done in a beige palette. A champagne-colored fabric was opted to upholster the dining chairs with teak wood legs and brass caps. The table on the other hand has a stone top with gold metal legs. To create a dining table as the focal point of the room the buffet cabinet and crockery unit are finished in polished veneer with a magnificent art piece to accentuate the wall.
The kitchen counter top is finished in polished galaxy black granite paired with white laminate finished overhead and base cabinets. Calcutta gold, a variation in satvario, is used for the backsplash with under cabinet lights to highlight the backsplash and provide ample light for anyone working in the kitchen. Definitely the kitchen looks regal to say the least.
This bedroom has been given a neo classical theme with a modern touch. The theme is muted and understated and just to enhance it ,beading was decided as an option for the bed back wall. A high back velvet upholstered bed and a chair in a pastel pink fabric are used to add color through furniture pieces..
The TV unit is mounted on a rubber wood panel with a dark grey tv cabinet. These designs just add more beauty to the bedroom.
This is the study room/ home office. The study unit is finished in laminate. A white cubby hole unit is installed for keeping books and other collectibles. There is a daybed with storage below. One wall is in a white brick patterned wallpaper and the opposite one in grey for framed artwork.
This is another bedroom done in white making it look pristine and inviting. It looks elegant and sophisticated. The client did not want the same combination of colors and material for the tv cabinet. So our designer rearranged the same colors and what came out was something quite unique.
A textured wallpaper is used on the wall of the two tv cabinets. The tv unit is finished with a similar color of laminate.
This area of the house is a quiet corner used for its members to relax and unwind. There was no way we could go wrong with this one. A contemporary floor mounted light fixture combined with a grey high back upholstered lounge chair with teak wood legs instantly makes you want to relax after a long day. The art piece on the wall brings out our client’s artistic taste. So whether its a mood for a cup of tea and a good book or a drink and some music this area is the place to be.
At one end there is a wooden partition with an elegant teak console.
So this was the design finalised for Mr Pushpinder and his family who were pleased with our ideas for their home.
